I went to get a part, and I was followed around as if I wanted to steal something. The general manager asked to black employees to difuse the situation because they could relate to another Black man.

THis is not the first time, prior to this I was asked if I wanted a job application when I went to view the Rx300. This time an employee told me that they were going to call police on me becuase I am an irriate customer. The GM tried to speak to me but his demeanor waws that of ignorance as he guarnteed me that the customer was always right. I want Ray Catena (the owner) to contact me.

Iwill not stop unitl this situation is rectified.

As a Lexus owner I am very pleased with my vehicle, I only wish I could say the same for the Ray catena service department of Larchmont. When I first called to schedule a service appointment I spoke with a secretary named Tina, who was incredibly rude and would not take my car in for service which was only a week old and had broken down on me because of an electrical problem,.

She told me that they had no loaners available for me bc it was a weekend and they only did oil changes and such on wknds.. I was told to take my car to a Greenwich dealership bc they had a larger qty of loaner cars, but they wouldn't give me one bc I did not purchase the car there....

WTF? This is Lexus service?

I completely agree with the fact that no one there knows what they are talking about. When I went in for service my advisor was unable to explain to me what the part they were trying to sell to me did...yet they knew that it needed to be replaced?

And when I went to speak to the service manager about the issue, he had not a clue as to what that part did either.... In the end I was offered a service credit for my troubles... But that does not change the fact that they have no idea how to do their jobs...hmm cuts service only goes so far...

My question is ... Who gave them their jobs?

Boti, I know exactly how you feel. Ray Catena Lexus is run like ***. The people who work there do not know what they are doing.

Also ignore, the idiotic things that others have said. They are as ignorant as the GM at the Lexus dealership.

Go to Greenwich next time. They are a whole lot nicer there.

Well this may be a case of racism, it may not, but it sounds from your letter that you were out of control. They have every right to call the police on you if you are an irriate customer whether you are black or white. Put the race card back in the deck Boti.
